Back in the summer of 1994 I went to a basement show and saw a band called State of the Nation open for Sensefield. I really dug their political message and offered them my living room floor to crash on. Fast forward to late 2020, I mailed a copy of our debut 7" single to a podcast called Blynd Submyshynz. Upon watching episode 18 where they mention our single, the special guest is a guy named Andy Patterson. I think he looks really familiar, low and behold he played drums in State of the Nation! I reconnect with him on Facebook and it turns out that he recorded a drum track that didn't end up getting used for the "Bow to Your Masters 2: Deep Purple" tribute compilation on Glory or Death Records. He sent me the drum track and we did our best to add guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals to it. Took a while to get it mixed and mastered and finally ready to release, but here it is!
